SALVATION

The most important next step you can take is the decision to start a relationship with God. This doesn’t happen by attending church, serving in ministry, or giving financially to religious organizations. Salvation comes when we realize that we must give up the worldly desire to please ourselves over our Creator, God. His purpose, His desire, His plan for our lives exceeds everything else. And that begins when we willingly lay our sin down before the Lord as a sacrifice.
The Bible tells us, the only way to the Father is through His Son, Jesus Christ (John 14:6). Jesus came, fully God and fully man, to die on a cross and rid the world of sin by shedding His own blood, making it so that we would not have to die, but that we could live in harmony and right relationship with God. This abolished the divide between us and our Father, God and secured eternal life in Christ for those who would choose to accept His sacrife.

So… how then does one get saved? As we approach the table, we must be willing to admit that we are helpless without a Savior. We must repent and ask forgiveness for our sin and our shortcomings. We must be willing to turn away from our past and give into the perfect will of the Father. We must commit daily to following Him. And from that moment, through
the grace of the Father, the power of the Holy Spirit, and following the
lifestyle of Jesus Christ, we will no longer be considered sinners,
but children of the one true God.

We would love to help you take your next steps in salvation.

BAPTISM

Once you have made the decision to accept Christ into your life, an important next step is the public declaration you make through baptisms. Baptisms is an outward sign of an inward transformation and commitment to following Jesus, and the life in Him that you’ve chosen over sin. Baptism does not save you — salvation must come first. It also does not signify a perfect life. It simply gives you an opportunity to boldly proclaim your commitment to the Savior and growing in relationship with Him.

Water Baptism is the process of being submerged underwater, to represent the death and burial of Christ, and risen from the water to identify in His resurrection. When you are baptized in water, you are signifying three things: you have declared allegiance to the Father, you are committed to living a life like Christ, and you are accepted into the family of God.
