90-DAY TITHE CHALLENGE
(Malachi 3:10) “‘Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse so that there will be food in my house. Test me now on this,’ says the Lord of Hosts. ‘If I will not open for you, the floodgates of heaven and pour out a blessing until it overflows.’”
WHY SHOULD I TITHE?
Tithing is an act of faith and trust in God’s provision. In Malachi 3:10, God lovingly invites us to test His faithfulness by returning the first 10% of our income to Him—a step of obedience that many find unlocks a deeper relationship with Him. When we tithe, we’re not only honoring God but also positioning ourselves to experience His blessings in unique and meaningful ways.
Taking the first step can feel daunting, but many have discovered the joy and peace that come with putting God first in their finances.
WHAT IS THE 90-DAY TITHE CHALLENGE?
We understand that beginning to tithe can feel like a leap of faith. That’s why we’ve created the 90-Day Tithe Challenge. It’s a simple, risk-free way to explore what God can do in your life when you trust Him in this area. Here’s how it works:
We invite you to tithe 10% of your income for 90 days. At the end of the challenge, if you feel that tithing hasn’t positively impacted your life or drawn you closer to God, we will refund 100% of what you gave—no questions asked. Simply send us a request within 30 days of completing the challenge. This ensures your giving remains a joyful, faith-filled experience.
WHY TRY THE 90-DAY TITHE CHALLENGE?
We’re offering this challenge because generosity is a vital part of spiritual growth. Just as we prioritize God in prayer, relationships, and other areas of life, giving is an opportunity to invite Him into our finances.
The 90 days give you time to establish a habit of intentional giving. During this time, you can witness how God works through your obedience and cheerful generosity. Tithing isn’t about obligation—it’s about inviting God to be first in our lives and seeing how He shows up in amazing ways.
WHO IS THE CHALLENGE FOR?
This challenge is for anyone who has not yet experienced the joy of tithing or has been giving sporadically without an intentional plan. If you’re already tithing 10% or more, we encourage you to keep going strong!
But if you’ve been giving only occasionally, from what feels safe or leftover, we invite you to take this step of faith. Consider praying about becoming intentional in your giving and trusting God in a deeper way.
WHY SHOULD I PRAY ABOUT TITHING?
Tithing isn’t just about money—it’s about aligning our hearts with God’s priorities and trusting Him with what He has already provided. It’s a chance to experience His faithfulness, grow spiritually, and see the difference generosity makes in the world around us.

90-DAY TITHE CHALLENGE:
I am committing to the following:
1. I would like to test God’s faithfulness by accepting the 90-Day Tithe Challenge.
2. My household has not been tithing for the last six months.
3. My household will return to God, through Heritage Church, a tithe equal to 10% of our income for three months.
4. For my tithe to be properly recorded and credited as part of the Challenge, I understand that I’ll need to:
a. Click the link below and select 90-Day Tithe Challenge; or
b. Put my name on any checks; or
c. Place cash gifts inside a completed giving envelope.
5. At the end of the 90-day period, if I don’t see God’s blessings in my life as a result of my obedience to His Word, then I can request a refund of all gifts made during that three-month period.
6. The Heritage Church business office must receive my refund request within 30 days following the end of the three-month period.
I understand that my 90-Day Tithe Challenge starts on the date of my first Tithe contribution.
