WHO WE ARE
WE ARE HERITAGE CHURCH
We are a body of believers dedicated to the mission of Jesus Christ. It is our hope that in whatever way you may have found us, you will quickly experience a loving community, opportunities to grow in faith for all ages, hearts genuinely seeking a Savior, and an authenticity in the belief of “come as you are.”
But above all else, we just want you to discover that the privilege of knowing and experiencing the love and grace of Jesus Christ will completely change your life for the better.
Trust us when we say, it’s real.
Thank you for taking the time to check us out, we are so glad you’re here!
MISSION & VISION
CORE VALUES
KNOW GOD
God wants to know us personally. More than just practicing religion, He wants a relationship with us. Our weekend services are where we focus on that relationship. Whether you're new to the faith, have questions, or have been a Christ-follower for a long time, our services are a safe place to learn more about what it means to know God and grow closer to him.
FIND FREEDOM
One of the ways God designed for us to live in freedom is to have people in our lives to help us in the journey. Connecting with others at heritage church small groups and Sunday school is a practical and enjoyable way to find that kind of life-changing community.
DISCOVER PURPOSE
We're all an important part of God's plan, and our life will never make sense until we discover our purpose. The Heritage Church Growth Track is designed to help us take steps in the important process of discovering our purpose.
MAKE A DIFFERENCE
This is God's ultimate plan for our life—to make a difference in the lives of others. When we do, the Bible tells us we will experience joy. Through the Heritage Church Dream Team, we hope to connect every person to an opportunity to live out their calling by using their gifts and talents to serve others in the church and the community.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
OUR BELIEF:
IN ESSENTIAL BELIEFS — WE HAVE UNITY.
(Eph. 4:4-6) “There is one Body and one Spirit...there is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father of us all...”
IN NON-ESSENTIAL BELIEFS — WE HAVE LIBERTY.
(Romans 14:1,4,12,22) “Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on disputable matters... Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls... So then each of us will give an account of himself to God... So whatever you believe about these things keep between yourself and God.”
IN ALL OUR BELIEFS — WE SHOW CHARITY.
(1 Cor. 13:2 Ph) “...If I hold in my mind not only all human knowledge but also the very secrets of God, and if I have the faith that can move mountains — but have no love, I amount to nothing at all.”
STATEMENT OF FAITH
We believe in God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus Christ the Son suffered in our place on the cross, that He died but rose again, that He now sits at the Father's right hand until He returns to judge all men at the last day.
We believe in the Holy Scriptures as the inspired and inerrant Word of God and our sole authority.
We believe that by the grace of God every person has the ability and responsibility to choose between right and wrong and that those who repent of their sin and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ are justified by faith.
We believe that God not only counts the believer as righteous, but that He makes him righteous, freeing him of sin's dominion at conversion, purifying his heart by faith and perfecting him in love at entire sanctification, and providing for his growth in grace at every stage of his spiritual life, enabling him through the presence and power of the Holy Spirit to live a victorious life.
WHAT WE HOPE TO BE KNOWN FOR
